Biodata of the Board Members:
1.Chairman, NSSB
Shri Kevekha Kevin Zehol, NCS (Retd.) holds M.A (History) and LLB degree from Delhi University. He proceeded on voluntary retirement on the 16th April, 2025 and took charge as the Chairman, NSSB on the 17th April, 2025
As an officer of the Nagaland Civil Service, in his 34 years and 5 months of service to the people, Shri Zehol served in some of the remotest areas of the State, Governor’s Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Kohima, Finance Department, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Ex Officio Director, Department of Information Technology, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur and many others. His last post held was Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland, Department of Land Resources.
He is recipient of
i) Governor’s Distinguish Service Award, 2005 and
ii) Governor’s Gold Medal, 2005.

4. Member, Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED), funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) through the India-Canada Environment Facility (ICEF). Worked as Member in-charge of Administration & Finance, NEPED for 3 years (June, 2001 – May, 2004).

1. Co-authored with wife Dr. Lucy Zehol, Reader, Department of Anthropology, NEHU, Shillong on the book “Women in Naga Society”. Regency Publications, New Delhi, 1998. Reviewed by M.N. Karna in NEHU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities Vol. I, No.2, July – December, 1998.
2. Co-authored with wife Dr Lucy Zehol, the book on ‘The Legendary Naga Village – A Reader (Khezhakeno)’ released by Shri Nikhil Kumar, His Excellency the Governor of Nagaland in presence of Shri Neiphiu Rio, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Nagaland on 26th January, 2010 at the Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan.
1. Co-authored with wife Dr Lucy Zehol, article on ‘Festivals – A celebration of life to a Politics of Heritage -the Naga case-a reflection’, December, 2015.
Shri Zehol has to his credit of attending many Trainings and Courses both within and outside the country.
